Guy Ritchie is widely regarded as one of the most well-known practitioners of jiu-jitsu in the entertainment industry. The director of Snatch has achieved the rank of black belt under the tutelage of the renowned Renzo Gracie.

The actor began his study in 2012, surprising many by earning his brown belt mere seven years after starting his training.

Of the television show Modern Family, Ed O'Neil has earned his black belt from the renowned Rorion Gracie. After 22 years of practice in the aforementioned martial art, the seasoned actor was awarded the rank of black belt.

As more and more influential people practicing martial arts can be seen in the media, it's safe to say that jiu-jitsu is rising in popularity.

With celebrities like Jonah Hill, Tom Hardy, and Guy Ritchie at the helm of this modern wave of martial artists, their influence is sure to bring awareness and appreciation to the art form.
